Most of these were submitted for the Custom Map Contest that started in December. Custom Map Spotlight: Final Rendition

The map probably received it's name because the map creator got tired of making it and finally said enough is enough, this is the 'final rendition'. The Map is 640x640 in size and is set for a 4v4 experience that may be played with any country.
This a very large map containing many, many cities. Each team must gain ground slowly, city by city, before they are able to engage their enemies base.

Do you have a Custom Map that you didn't create, but still isn't displayed on our Website? Then now's the time to contribute to the community. Please email any Custom Map that is not displayed on the website to valdarez@triplethreatclan.com. Attach the map, along with a short description of it. The map will be posted to the website along with your name if you are the author.
In case you are wondering where the maps that you download when playing the game are stored, all of the Axis & Allies RTS Maps are located in your My Documents/A&A/data/Maps directory.

As the winter season hits the armies, intelligence reports a key overwatch position to monitor enemy movements, Hill 317. Already, both sides have tried to attack this installment, but are forced to retreat after losing many troops. This time, one side will dominate the other for this piece of land.

Custom Map Spotlight: Operation Overlord D-Day

Despite the victories in southern Italy, the march northward remains slow, and the bulk of the German forces have been able to continue the fight against Russia. At Stalin's urging, the time has come to open a new front. On June 6th, 1944, this front will be opened with an amphibious invasion in Normandy that will mark the final days of Germany's conquest. Despite substantial misinformation fed to the Germans about the time and location of the landing, coastal defenses remain enormous. Prepare for war, D-Day is about to begin.

Custom Map Spotlight: The Siege of Texas

With Germany's success in the European Theater and Japan's success in the Pacific Theater, both the Atlantic and Pacific American fleets lay in ruin. With nothing to stop them, Japan quickly takes Midway, Hawaii, and then occupies Mexico. Instead of attempting to gain a foothold to the east, in a surprise attack, Germany sends its fleet towards the Gulf Coast and along with Japan presses a double pronged attack for the Texas frontier. Japan makes gains into the interior with the fall of Corpus Christi and after a fierce battle Germany successfully takes Houston along with it's vast oil refineries and reserves. Texas is under siege. With their allies defeated, and no help in sight, America must find a way to expel both the German and Japan forces from their homeland.
